The Air Cargo Tariff and Rules (TACT) Manuel is one of the important printed and digital media which provides comprehensive information regarding shipping and accepting air cargo, comprising of industry, country and carrier regulations required for efficiently and smooth air cargo transportation worldwide. TACT Rules is the definitive source for shipping and accepting air cargo. Country Information section provides some vital information about the country’s general information, airports, customs, warehouse facilities and restrictions. For this reason, IATA TACT Manual is official source and reference in Air Cargo Industry.
Until Sep 2016, the text of restrictions in section Turkey had some very old information for nearly more than 50 years, causing some mistakes and misunderstandings when a live animal was sent to Turkey.
As a result of our company’s initiatives through ACC Turkey (Air Cargo Committee), IATA decided to change this text in the Manual and updated as per our information and published in new version dated Oct 2016.
Also, our Managing Director Mr. Suleyman Aydemir has been appointed by IATA as local information source for any further updating 3 times a year.
